A Workshop on the ‘Ethical, Methodological, Logistical, and political domains of research’

The University Research Council (URC) concluded a workshop on the, on ‘Ethical, Methodological, Logistical, and political domains of research’ on June 15, 2023. The workshop was held at the Staff development center and was attended about 30 permanent staff members and some Post Graduate students of the university. This was conducted as an interactive session by Prof.Janaka Jayawickrama, Professor of Social Anthropology, Department of History, Director-Research Centre for Health and Wellbeing, College of Liberal Arts, Shanghai University, China.Overall, the workshop provided valuable insights into the importance of considering the domains in research and how to ensure that research is conducted with integrity and accountability.
